As promised, we’re back with another City of the Plague God character post about mother to Belet and goddess of love and war, Ishtar!
Could you imagine having this goddess as your mother? When Sikander meets Belet’s mom, he is immediately mesmerized, and who can blame him? Her deep purr of a voice is hypnotic to our hero, along with her posh accent, the warm intensity of her attention, her entrancing eyelashes. As you can see from the illustration, she definitely draws focus.
Unlike Sikander, the serious, severe Belet isn’t always thrilled about her mom’s flair for the dramatic. Something as simple as a school pick-up in her Jaguar can result in traffic jams and near fist-fights. Speaking of that Jaguar, we’d happily go joy-riding all over town with Ishtar at the wheel. Although we wonder what that button marked DNT for “do not touch” does…
Meet Ishtar!
