We’re still cheering about last week’s green light announcement about Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and this week we got more good news from Disney+. See below from Monday’s announcement.

Disney+ has put in development Paola Santiago and the River of Tears, a live action original series based on Tehlor Kay Mejia’s critically claimed novel, from writer Kevin Rodriguez, Eva Longoria’s UnbeliEVAble Entertainment, and 20th Television.

We can’t wait to see how they conjure up all the amazingly spooky imagery from Tehlor’s ghost story. It makes us want to go back and read the book all over again, along with book 2, Paola Santiago and the Forest of Nightmares.
