The Gifted Clans Series
From writer Graci Kim comes the Gifted Clans series, following the story of Riley Oh, a Korean American girl who was adopted into a witch clan at a young age, despite not possessing any magical abilities herself. In the first book in the trilogy, The Last Fallen Star, Riley uncovers the mysteries of her true heritage and learns shocking secrets that the Gifted Clans have been hiding for her entire life.
Now, in the upcoming Last Fallen Moon, Riley’s sense of self is about to be challenged once again thanks to an emergency trip to the Spiritrealm and a chance encounter with a boy named Dahl. He is destined to change Riley’s life forever—that is, if she can return to the mortal realm in one piece.

Sik’s peaceful life as a worker in his parents’ deli is turned upside down when Nergal, the god of death and disease, bursts in demanding the flower of immortality. Sik has to team up with Ishtar, the goddess of love and war, and a formerly legendary hero named Gilgamesh to save Manhattan from a deadly plague.

Pahua and the Soul Stealer
Pahua and the Soul Stealer, from author Lori M. Lee, centers on a lonely 11-year-old Hmong girl who has the ability to interact with the restless spirits who haunt our mortal world. Some are best left alone, though, like the angry young ghost who snatches her brother’s soul. Pahua, her trusty yet judgmental spirit kitten Miv, and a young shaman warrior named Zhong must cross over into the spirit worlds to bring Matt back to the world of the living.
Keep an eye out for the next book in this trilogy, Pahua and the Dragon’s Secret, releasing in Fall 2023!
